KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Aaron Rodgers threw for 305 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Green Bay Packers to a 31-24 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday.
Rodgers threw two touchdown passes to Aaron Jones, who had seven receptions for 159 yards and rushed for 13 carries and 67 yards.
With their 2018 NFL MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes injured, the Chiefs (5-3) were unable to persevere through the Packers (7-1).
Kansas City led 17-14 at halftime. In the third, Green Bay went on a 15-play drive that ended with a tying field goal. In the final quarter, Aaron Jones caught a 67-yard touchdown pass from Rodgers to win the game.
Matt Moore threw for 267 yards and two touchdowns. LeSean McCoy rushed for nine carries and 40 yards. Tyreek Hill had six receptions for 76 yards.
Next week, Kansas City plays the Minnesota Vikings. Green Bay is at the Los Angeles Chargers.
